None — JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- We are so into tablets; so much so, that for the first time ever since the personal computer was invented, the sales of personal computers are dropping.
In fact, the most recent quarter is down 14% in sales from the year before. Laptops have become completely unloved devices, while people buy the latest tablet.
If you spend $500 for a very basic iPad tablet, they will turn their noses up at a $229 dollar laptop.
Particularly for heavy writing of e-mails or school papers, anything like that, nothing beats a laptop. I know it's not as much fun, but what's fun is how incredibly cheap they are right now.
