Georgia state court judge shot by wife, officials say

Shelia Futch is charged aggravated assault in the shooting of her husband. 

BACON COUNTY, Ga. — A Georgia woman is charged with shooting her husband, who is also a state court judge.

The Bacon County Sheriff's Office was called out Tuesday night to their home.

Deputies say the judge was shot several times. He was taken to a hospital where he was later flown to UF Health Jacksonville, where he is in stable condition.

Shelia Futch is charged with aggravated assault in the shooting.
