FLORIDA — Florida gyms and fitness centers can now open at 50% capacity with some restrictions.
Governor Ron DeSantis made the announcement Friday.
In order for gyms to reopen, the following rules must be followed:
- No more than 50% capacity at all times.
- Sanitizing equipment readily available to members.
- Instruct gym goers to sanitize after each use.
- Throughout the day, staff should be sanitizing all high touch equipment, bathrooms and counters
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect all high touch surfaces before closing the building.
- Send home any employees who may appear to be sick when they arrive to work.
Face masks are not required for employees or customers.
