Kid Care Report: January 21, 2020

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two local faith-based day cares in Jacksonville are starting the year off with a record of clean state inspections.

In this week’s Action News Jax Kid Care Report, anchor Letisha Bereola went through recent inspections from all around our area and found a handful of violation free records: here are the two that stood out:

Isle of Faith Child Development Center off San Pablo is connected to the United Methodist Church.

There were 57 children present and 15 staff members working when an inspector with the Department of Children and Families dropped in.

Bereola researched the center’s record online and saw its last three inspections had zero violations.

The other day care that stood out is St. John’s Cathedral School & Early Learning Center in downtown Jacksonville.

They received three visits from DCF in 2019 and the inspector found no violations.

The school is proud of that and on its website it states it has an “unbroken string of perfect DCF inspections” and it lists every clean inspection since 2013.
