But on Wednesday, we found out neighbors are dealing with a new problem.

"We don't know have no water or gas," Monique Fears said.

"What has it been like in the past week?"

"Hell," said one woman, who asked not to be named.

Another woman who asked not to be named told Action News Jax management never came to their doors to notify them they'd be without water.

Instead, a single piece of paper posted on their doors Wednesday morning was the only explanation.

"We haven't heard of any offers of water to drink, much less bathe or anything else," said the woman.

The Millenia Companies, which owns the complex, told Action News Jax last week they have two crews working long hours trying to repair underground piping that needs to be fixed before the gas can be restored.

On Wednesday, Action News Jax went to property management to find out when that'll happen.
Management wasn't there when we went to the leasing office, so we called the phone number posted near the door.

No one answered the phone.

But during our interview with Fears, the property manager went out the back door, so Action News Jax reporter Jamarlo Phillips went after her to get answers.

"I'm just trying to get these folks some answers out here because they have been without gas for a week and now without running water. We both probably have hot water at our homes," Phillips said.

"We're working on the problem, and it will be fixed. That's all I can do at this level," said property manager Patricia Winn.

Neighbors say that often, no one is available at the leasing office.

Many of them who didn't want to talk on camera say maintenance problems there go weeks or months without being fixed.
