The theater is offering guests who purchase a movie ticket a free small popcorn. In exchange, the theater is collecting donations for the Nassau Education Foundation.
All proceeds from the popcorn giveaway are going toward the fund, the theater said.
The theater was gutted during a massive renovation that was completed March 8.
The theater boasts leather recliners in every auditorium, self-serve soda fountains with free refills on all drink sizes and a bar that features movie-themed cocktails, beer, and wine.
