Brantley County cemetery damaged by hit-and-run driver, sheriff’s office asking for help

BRANTLEY COUNTY, Ga. — A hit-and-run driver caused considerable damage to headstones at a Brantley County cemetery over the weekend.

The sheriff’s office is asking the public for any information about the damage that was done on Sun., May 21 at the High Bluff Cemetery. It is believed the incident occurred between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

The suspect may have been driving a pickup truck pulling some type of trailer.
