Airplane crashes into waterway near St. Augustine airport

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — UPDATE, 9 AM: Sgt. Dylan Bryan has said no injuries have been reported in the plane crash near the St. Augustine Airport on Thursday morning. The pilot called emergency officials about crashing into Redfish Creek. It appears the pilot was the only person on board.

Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that an airplane is in the water near the St. Augustine Airport. Action News Jax has a crew near the scene and will provide updates when available.
