Chilly start to a sunny and warm Sunday

Jacksonville, Fla. — Sunday got off to a chilly start, with temperatures in the 40s and 50s.

But First Alert Meteorologist Trevor Gibbs says that chill will go away quickly once the sun rises.

Highs today are expected to be in the mid-80s, and there’s no rain in the forecast.

Sunny skies will continue during the week, with comfortable mornings and very warm afternoons.

And by the end of the week, many inland neighborhoods may approach 90° for the first time this year.
