Clay County Sheriff’s Office: Body of missing man found in Black Creek

GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. — The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said the body of a missing man was found Thursday in Black Creek.

CCSO said Thursday morning it was investigating “an undetermined death in the water” at the Knight’s Boat Ramp, which is located in Green Cove Springs on Black Creek.

On Thursday afternoon, the Sheriff’s Office said it had recovered the body of James Myers, who was last seen on his boat on Dec. 22 or 23.

CCSO had posted on its social media several days earlier about Myers’ disappearance.
