GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. — A woman is dead after crashing her car into a residence Sunday morning in Green Cove Springs, Florida Highway Patrol said.
According to FHP, the 71-year-old woman from Green Cove Springs was driving east on Caroline Boulevard in Penney Farms when she crashed her SUV into a home around 7:40 a.m. Sunday.
She was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Clay County, where she was later pronounced dead.
No one inside the residence was injured.
FHP said the investigation is ongoing.
