Jacksonville, Fl — It’s not a dramatic plunge but we will feeling cooler after hitting 80 degrees briefly yesterday.
Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says we have had at least one day at/above 80 since January of 2016, a remarkable stretch of 59 months.
It turns brisk today with temperatures only in the 60s and winds off the Atlantic Ocean. Isolated showers develop along the coast.
Scattered showers track across the area on Wednesday, but not until the afternoon and evening so the morning rush to work and school looks dry.
We clear out Wednesday night/Thursday and cool down into the low 60s and upper 50s. The weekend ahead looks dry & cool with temperatures near average.
