Crash in Duval ends fatal, with another critically injured

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol state that at approximately 6 p.m. Friday night, two cars traveling in opposite direction collided head on.

The report states that a head on collision occurred on Lem Turner Road, north of Braddock Road.

A Jeep Grand Cherokee, traveling southbound and a Nissan Sentra, traveling northbound collided.

The driver of the jeep sustained critical injuries and was transported by JFRD to UF Downtown Jacksonville. The driver of the Nissan was extricated from the vehicle and transported by JFRD to UF Downtown Jacksonville where he was pronounced deceased.
