Troopers said a black Honda was heading north on SR-21 and rear-ended a Hard Rock Materials dump truck. The impact caused the Honda to cross the center lane and was hit by a blue Mercury Grand Marquis.
The driver of the Honda, 21-year-old Robert Clay Davis of Keystone Heights, was killed. The driver of the Grand Marquis was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, FHP said. The dump truck driver was not injured in the crash.
Drivers are being detoured to County Road 352 south of Gold Head Park.
