‘Deck the Chairs’ volunteers needed

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — “Deck the Chairs” is one of the events that signals the start of the holiday season for Jacksonville, and it’s just around the corner. But first, some help is needed to make this year’s holiday event truly spectacular.

Volunteers are needed to help set up the “Beaches Go Green Inspiration Pathway” with a new version of its single-use plastic art.

Setup this year will happen at the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach.

Those interested can volunteer on the following days:

Monday 11/15: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Tuesday 11/16: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Thursday 11/18: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Friday 11/19: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Saturday 11/20: only as needed*

Monday 11/22: only as needed*

Tuesday 11/23: only as needed*

The event opens on Wednesday, Nov. 24. Volunteers can come that day to enjoy all of their hard work.
