Donald Davidson indicted on nine counts, including first-degree murder charge

GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. — A Clay County grand jury indicted Donald Davidson, the man accused of killing a Middleburg mother, on nine counts Wednesday.

Davidson, 34, has been indicted on charges of first degree murder, attempted sexual battery, four counts of sexual battery, lewd and lascivious molestation, kidnapping and grand theft auto.

Davison is being held at the Clay County Jail without bond. His next court date is scheduled for Jan. 7.

The State filed a notice of intent to seek the death penalty for Davidson.
