Art Walk returns to downtown Jacksonville this fall

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Friendly family fun is returning to downtown Jacksonville this fall.

Eventgoers will once again get to experience all Art Walk has to offer beginning Wednesday, Oct. 6.

If you’ve never been, it’s an event you don’t want to miss. It happens the first Wednesday of every month from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the areas of James Weldon Johnson Park, the Jessie Ball duPont Center and the surrounding businesses.

Attendees get to view art from local artists, see live performances and even buy a meal from several food trucks.

Since 2003, the event has been hosted by Downtown Vision to invite people to see the creativity the community has to offer.

The event runs rain or shine.

If you are an artist looking to showcase your work or a food truck owner, you will need to fill out an application.

The application, as well as other details about Art Walk, can be found here.
