JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Bars and restaurants around Jacksonville are preparing to welcome guests for New Year’s Eve festivities with COVID-19 safety measures in place.

The Volstead, a speakeasy-style bar in downtown Jacksonville, tells Action News Jax guests will need to be wearing a mask to enter the business.

Volstead Marketing Director, Hannah Ferguson, says sanitizer will be available at every table, and occupancy will be limited to 66%, about 100 people.
