JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Delta Airlines flight that was headed to Jacksonville from Atlanta landed safely after experiencing engine failure Wednesday morning, according to the Jacksonville Aviation Authority.
Flight Aware data shows Flight 2630 left the gate at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta at 8:05 a.m. and arrived at the gate at Jacksonville International Airport at 9:21 a.m.
The plane, which was a Boeing 737, had 90 people on board, including the crew members, JAA said.
Earlier this week, an American Airlines-owned plane bound for Philadelphia from Jacksonville had to turn back around and land at JAX airport after a potential mechanical issue.
