JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Action News Jax reporter Courtney Cole spoke to Dr Brian Seymour, the Director of Research for Center of the Prevention of Health Disparities at Edward Waters College.
He spoke to Cole about his concerns for the health and safety of Health Zone 1 during this coronavirus pandemic.
Dr. Seymour says Health Zone 1 is most vulnerable for COVID-19 in Jacksonville.
Health Zone 1 consists of zip codes: 32202, 32246, 32289, 32254.
Dr Seymour says higher rates of health conditions and lack of insurance in these areas makes the neighbors living in these communities most vulnerable
