Jacksonville, Fla. — Two teens were sitting in their car in a parking lot after dinner when a law enforcement source says Theresa Odom tapped on their window with a badge and shotgun, allegedly impersonating a police officer.

The source says Odom claimed to be an undercover detective and asked the teens to hand over a cell phone, which one did. When Odom demanded to be taken to an ATM one of the victims drove off and called police.
The victims later saw Odom parked in front of another business off San Jose Boulevard. When police arrived, Odom was still there.
Police called the victim’s cell phone and it rang on the passenger’s seat of the suspect’s vehicle.

Odom was subsequently arrested and charged with armed robbery and impersonating a police officer, police say.
Odom’s Duval County criminal history includes charges of criminal mischief, disorderly intoxication and resisting a police officer.
Impersonating a police officer is felony. Odom is facing up to 5 years in prison if convicted on that charge alone.
