JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man was found dead Tuesday in the Kohl’s parking lot on Atlantic Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Officers responded to the area just before 7 a.m. and found the man who had been shot once.
The Sheriff’s Office believes the shooting did not happen in the store parking lot.

Investigators are working to learn where the deadly shooting happened and how the man ended up in the parking lot.
JSO will be reviewing security cameras of nearby businesses.
There is no suspect information at this time.
