Court records reveal Walker was released from jail on Dec. 30, 2020. His arrest report said he hit Litgen in the head with a frying pan during an argument.

The charges were eventually dropped.

A neighbor, who did not want to show his face and had us change his voice due to safety concerns, said he along with many others in the neighborhood knew there was trouble.

“We were concerned about the congregating of various people that are not from this area. We know who belongs here and who doesn’t,” he said.

Action News Jax looked into Litgen’s official court records — there were a lot. He has a lengthy criminal history in Duval County, including battery, aggravated assault and criminal mischief.

When asked if he ever gets concerned for his own safety, he said yes.

“The people that I see that are not from here, congregating and they’re not exactly friendly from here, and there have been thefts in the neighborhood previously,” he said.

Police say they were called to this home multiple times. If Walker passes away, Litgen’s charges will likely be upgraded to murder.
