Online education platform provides thousands of job opportunities during COVID-19 pandemic

While the COVID-19 pandemic has left millions without a job, Action News Jax found who is still hiring.

One of them is an online education platform, called Outschool. The company looking to hire thousands of teachers and instructors for their virtual classes.

Certified teachers or anyone with a passion for a particular subject can teach courses online. It requires a background check and an approved lesson by the company.

“The opportunity is for anyone, degree-certified or not,” Dr. Kai Kafferly with Outschool said. “What Outschool looks for is if people have a passion for something. It doesn’t necessarily have to be about what their job is right now, just something they’re very passionate about and could translate that to teaching.”
