JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The deadline for families to register to receive toy donations from Toys for Tots is almost over.

The charity said if you’ve already registered, do not forget to send a picture of your ID and proof of custodianship to helpingjaxyouth@gmail.com.
The COVID-19 pandemic has made the need for donations greater than ever.
Toys for Tots is asking for new and unwrapped toys.
Monday, Jax Illuminations held its third annual toy drive at the Morocco Shrine Center.
Families who brought a toy valued at $10 or more got in free to enjoy the mile-long holiday lights that are synchronized to holiday music.
Last year, they collected over 150 toys for charity.
The deadline to donate toys is Dec. 9.
