Officer Green English was injured in an on-duty car crash over a year ago. She has had five surgeries to repair damage to her leg from the crash and is still dealing with complications.

The Signal 34 Foundation is reporting that she has been unable to work due to these complications and her husband has had to take time off work to care for her.

Therefore, the benefit dinner and raffle are raising funds for Green English’s medical and living expenses as she recovers.

Tickets are $10 each. The raffle will take place at the JSO Zone 5 substation at 1 p.m. on July 21. Tickets can be purchased Saturday night at the benefit dinner for Officer Smith or from Sgt. Munger or Det. Powers.
