Early voting begins in Northeast Florida counties: What you need to know

FLORIDA — Registered Northeast Florida voters can now early vote in person.

Early voting sites opened Monday morning in Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Nassau, Putnam and Bradford counties.

DUVAL COUNTY

All early voting sites are open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There are a total of 20 early voting sites. Early Voting will end Nov. 1. The list of all the early voting sites in Duval County can be found here. To view current wait times click here.

To vote-by-mail, people can mail in their ballots or drop them off at one of the designated drop box locations. Most drop boxes will only be available during Early Voting, however there is one outside of the Supervisor of Elections that is currently collecting ballots. Here is a list of all the official drop box locations.

CLAY COUNTY

All early voting sites are open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There are a total of seven early voting sites. Early Voting will end Oct. 31. The list of all the early voting sites in Clay County can be found here.

To vote-by-mail, people can mail in their ballots or drop them off at one of the designated drop box locations. Most drop boxes will only be available during Early Voting, however there will be a 24-hour drop box available at the Elections Office. A list of all the drop boxes can be found here.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY

All early voting sites are open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are a total of 10 early voting sites. Early Voting will end Oct. 31. The list of all the early voting sites in St. Johns County can be found here. To view the current wait times click here.

To vote-by-mail, people can mail in their ballots or drop them off at one of the designated drop box locations. Most drop boxes will only be available during Early Voting, however there will be drop boxes open starting on Tuesday, October 20, through Oct. 31 at three library branches. A 24-hour drop box is available at the Elections Office. A list of all the drop boxes can be found here.

NASSAU COUNTY

All early voting sites opened Monday at 9 a.m. and will close at 6 p.m. There are a total of five early voting sites. Early Voting will end Nov. 1. The list of all the early voting sites in Nassau County can be found here.

To vote-by-mail, people can mail in their ballots or drop them off at one of the designated drop box locations. Most drop boxes will only be available during Early Voting, however there will be a 24-hour drop box available at the Elections Office. A list of all the drop boxes can be found here.

PUTNAM COUNTY

All early voting sites are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are a total of three early voting sites. Early Voting will end Oct. 31. The list of all the early voting sites in Putnam County can be found here.

BRADFORD COUNTY

All early voting sites are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In Bradford County, the early voting site is at the Bradford County Courthouse, located at 945 North Temple Avenue (Highway 301) in Starke. Early Voting will end Nov. 1.

BAKER COUNTY

Early Elections will begin on Oct. 22 and will end on Oct. 31. There is only one early voting site in Baker County and it’s at the Supervisor of Elections Office. The office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
