Eight-car crash on I-95 slows early morning traffic

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Crash involving eight cars on Interstate 95 closed some northbound lanes near the Philips Highway exit Tuesday morning.

The right two northbound lanes were blocked for about a couple of hours.

A driver stopped quickly, causing a chain-reaction of cars to hit from behind, according to officials at the scene.

Only minor injuries were reported in the crash, including a person who had neck and back issues.
