FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. — The Fernandina Beach Police Department is searching for two subjects who stole the trident from a Poseidon statue on May 12.
FBPD said on its Facebook that the picture is a "poor quality" still shot from a video, but is hoping to gain a better description of the duo by releasing the photo.
An SUV pulled off of Simmons Road and traveled south on Fletcher Avenue, so the driver of this vehicle may have seen the subjects.
The man in the dark shirt (pictured, right) is the subject who actually stole the trident, according to FBPD.
