JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded just after 3 p.m. on Friday to a fire that damaged a three-story building at MAA Belmont Apartments in Mandarin.
A fire department spokeswoman said was under control by about 4 p.m. No one was injured, though four adults and one child were displaced.
The fire damaged one of 12 multistory buildings at the complex located on Oldfield Crossing near Lowe’s Home Improvement store.
