JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — This morning is mild with temperatures in the 70s and partly cloudy skies.

  • A few morning showers streaming off the Atlantic.
  • Highs will be in the mid 80s at the beaches and upper 80s to near 90 degrees well inland.
  • Showers and a few storms will shift more inland this afternoon. Some rain will be heavy with gusty winds.
  • High rip current risk at local beaches.
  • A few showers and storms continue the next few days, but plenty of dry hours.
  • Temperatures will heat up by the end of the week with highs back in the lower 90s.
