Florida Blue said it is sponsoring free flu shot clinics on Saturday, Nov. 7, at a number of sites around Jacksonville.
The vaccine will be covered by the Duval County Medical Society for those who do not have insurance.
The community is invited to receive a flu shot at the following locations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.:
- The Sanctuary at Mt. Calvary located at 2360 Kings Rd.
- Open Arms Community Church, and First Timothy located at 2763 Dunn Ave # 1
- All People International and Greater Macedonia located at 1880 Edgewood Ave W
The flu shot clinic will also be available at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens located at 370 Zoo Parkway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. An admission ticket is required and must be purchased online in advance.
