HEAL Autism Walk: Sunday at the Jacksonzille Zoo

The HEAL Autism walk is Sunday at the Jacksonville Zoo. HEAL executive director Jason Gurka stopped by Action News Jax to talk about the event.

Walkers will be given exclusive access to the zoo starting at 7:30 a.m. for registration. The walk will begin at 8:30 a.m. Participants are invited to stay after the walk and enjoy the zoo for the rest of the day.

The mission of HEAL is to raise money and resources for our local autism community.

"The best part about HEAL is that all the funds stay here in Northeast Florida," Gurka said.

Children 12 and younger are free but all other attendees will need to purchase a ticket at the HEAL website by clicking here.
