FEMA Hiring Florida residents to support Hurricane Irma recovery

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced it's hiring local residents in disaster recovery efforts months after Hurricane Irma.

FEMA is looking to hire people with experience in floodplain management, cost analysis, civil engineering, site inspections, flood or casualty insurance, and historic preservation.

There are currently recovery teams already in place in multiple areas throughout Florida, so those hired would join those teams.

The positions are available in Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, and Tallahassee.
