The Jacksonville Jaguars made the first round of cuts on Monday afternoon and trimmed their roster to 78 players from 90.
The Jags will still have to cut three more players before Tuesday at 4pm.
The biggest name from the cuts on Monday was former 7th round cornerback Demetrius McCray. In addition, LB Joplu Bartu, RB Cameron Marshall, punter Ryan Quigley, kicker Sam Ficken, WR Jamal Robinson, WR Shaq Evans, and CB Mike Hilton.
The Jags also made some injury moves involving Jeff Linkenbach, Earl Wolff, Luke Bowanko, and Jonathan Woodard.
The Jags will have to get down to 53 players by September 3rd at 4pm.
