Blood providers in the Jacksonville area said immediate blood needs have been met following a mass shooting at a video game tournament at The Jacksonville Landing on Sunday afternoon.

OneBlood said it confirmed with every area hospital that received patients that each hospital has a sufficient blood inventory.

Because blood supply is sufficient, OneBlood is operating under normal business hours.

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers said it is grateful for the donations that helped Northeast Florida hospitals care for victims of the shooting.

Donors can find a location near them and make an appointment to donate by visiting www.lifesouth.org or calling 888-795-2707.
