A woman was arrested by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office after she was accused of beating a man to death. The man was trying to evict her from his home, JSO said.
On Nov. 2, Jessica Norton, 31, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of Rafael Sur. Morton also tampered with evidence, the arrest report said.
The weapon was described as a "blunt object" in the arrest report.
The alleged beating happened on Sept. 16 at a a home on White Horse Road West on the Southside.
