JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens is offering $9.04 off general admission tickets from Sept. 4 through Sept. 7 in celebration of 904 Day. The discount is available online only and applies automatically at checkout without a promo code.
Held annually on Sept. 4, 904 Day celebrates Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. The observance encourages residents and visitors to support local businesses, destinations and organizations across the First Coast.
As part of the holiday weekend, the zoo will host SUPER Saturday on Sept. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is presented in partnership with Costumers for a Cause and features costumed characters such as superheroes, princesses and mermaids throughout the grounds.
Visitors can participate in a scavenger hunt where characters help unlock animal facts. Families who complete and turn in their scavenger hunt will receive one free ticket to the zoo’s Spooktacular event, with a limit of one ticket per family or group.
The Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens houses more than 2,000 animals and 1,000 plant species across its habitats and botanical gardens. Nikki Smith serves as the chief philanthropy and marketing officer at the Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
