JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update: According to JEA, New berling Road has reopened following a waiter main break.
TRAFFIC UPDATE: JEA crews have completed repairs to a reclaimed water main on New Berlin Road, south of Faye Road. The road has reopened to all traffic. 🚙

JEA crews are working to repair a water main break in North Jacksonville on New Berlin Road just south of Faye Road.
JEA said the water main runs underneath the railroad tracks in the area and crews are working to get rid of the water, which has flooded that part of New Berlin Road.

They say they are planning to keep New Berlin Road closed south of Faye Road to New Berlin East until further notice.
JEA said the pipe carries reclaimed water, so drinking water is not affected.
The water main break is near an industrial part of North Jacksonville where there are a lot of contractors and engineers working in the area.

JEA Northside Generating Station power plant is also right around the corner.
JEA is asking people to be cautious of their crews working to fix this water main break and get the roads open as soon as possible.
JEA has not released the cause of the water main break yet.
