The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting death of a man at a local motel Monday night.
Police say they responded to the Intown Suites at 210 St. Johns Bluff North in reference to a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a black man in the parking lot with at least one gunshot wound.
The man died at the scene, authorities said.
JSO said the man was 32 years old. Officials are working to obtain surveillance video from the area and are interviewing witnesses.
