9/25/19, 11 a.m.: Tropical Storm Karen is moving north at 15 miles per hour. Heavy rains continue over Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

A north-northeastward to northeastward motion with a decrease in forward speed is expected through early Friday. Karen is then expected to slow down and make a clockwise loop over the southwestern Atlantic into the weekend.

9/22/19, 11 p.m.: As the First Alert Weather Team continues to track Tropical Storm Karen, Tropical Depression Thirteen has now formed in the Far Eastern Atlantic Ocean.
9/22/19, 8 p.m.: Tropical Storm Karen formed early Sunday over the Eastern Caribbean just east of the Lesser Antilles.
