9/26/19, a.m. update.: Tropical Storm Karen is expected to weaken over the next few days over the weekend.

9/25/19, 11 a.m.: Tropical Storm Karen is moving north at 15 miles per hour. Heavy rains continue over Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

A north-northeastward to northeastward motion with a decrease in forward speed is expected through early Friday.  Karen is then expected to slow down and make a clockwise loop over the southwestern Atlantic into the weekend.

9/25/19, 5 a.m.: The latest update shows Tropical Storm Karen making a loop over the weekend and tracking west. What does this storm mean for your upcoming weekend? Nothing. There are no local impacts as the First Alert Weather team will be tracking this storm for days.

9/24/19, 11 a.m.: There was little change with Tropical Storm Karen. The latest track is below:

9/24/19, 5 a.m.: Karen has strengthened and is now a tropical storm again. It is expected to bring gusty winds and heavy rain to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

9/23/19, 5 p.m.: Tropical Storm Karen is now a tropical depression. Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh said Karen is forecast to strengthen this week as it moves into the Atlantic.

Tropical Depression Thirteen is now Tropical Storm Lorenzo, and that system looks to be staying out to sea.

9/23/19, 11 a.m.: Tropical Storm Karen will impact Puerto Rico tonight/Tuesday as a tropical storm. It is expected to slow down by the weekend.

9/23/19, 8 a.m.: Karen moving Northwest through the Eastern Caribbean. It is still not very organized on satellite imagery.

9/23/19, 5 a.m.: The latest forecast track shows Tropical Storm Karen making a sharp left turn next week. A tropical storm warning has been issued for Puerto Ricon Vieques, Culebra and the U.S. Virgin Islands.  A tropical storm watch is in effect for the British Virgin Islands.

9/22/19, 11 p.m.: As the First Alert Weather Team continues to track Tropical Storm Karen, Tropical Depression Thirteen has now formed in the Far Eastern Atlantic Ocean.

9/22/19, 8 p.m.: Tropical Storm Karen formed early Sunday over the Eastern Caribbean just east of the Lesser Antilles.
