JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A local family tells Action News a popular pet food made their pet sick.
We told you about the lawsuit against Nestle Purina Beneful.
But about three months ago, dog owner Sonya Burroughs said her dog ate Purina Beneful dog food that didn't quite agree with her stomach.

Burroughs said Beneful, which claims to be healthy for dogs, wasn't for her Jack Russell terrier.
"She was dying and there was nothing I could do about it so I thought I was going to lose my dog," Burroughs said.
Action News found nearly 2,000 comments on the company's Facebook page with complaints of sickness and deaths of their dogs.
The company said those allegations are baseless and said the food is safe.
