Man arrested after stabbing during fight in St. Johns County, deputies say

St. Johns County Sheriff's Office arrests 37-year-old Alton Hobbs

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man after he allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed another man on Wednesday.

According to SJSO, deputies responded to South Woodlawn Street in reference to a fight involving multiple people and a stabbing on Wednesday.

Deputies found a man with a stab wound, and he was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

SJSO Major Crimes Unit detectives learned that 37-year-old Alton Hobbs pulled a knife and stabbed the victim in the fight.

Hobbs was arrested and charged with Violation of Probation, Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, and Affray.
