A man captured video of a comet flying through the sky in St. Augustine Beach on Saturday.
Eric Zsolczai said he woke up at 4 a.m. Saturday to photograph Comet 45P/Honda-Mrkos-Paradisaical.
Comet 45P, also known as the New Year Comet, is visible only once every 5.25 years.
Countdown is on for the full solar eclipse in summer 2017
The comet was visible at the same time as a lunar eclipse and “snow” moon, which is another rare phenomenon.
"With a full moon out, I had some serious doubts that I was going to catch anything," Zsolczai said on Facebook. "I soon realized that I could (barely) capture the comet and that it was really blazing across the sky. I was so amazed at how fast it was going that I decided to make a time-lapse video of it speed-racing outta here."
According to NASA, stargazers will have to wait until 2022 to see Comet 45P again.
