Man shot at Forrest Apartments

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man was shot Monday night at around 10 p.m. at 3700 Star Leaf Rd.

JSO reports that the adult male victim had just entered his vehicle at Forest Apartments at 5400 Norde D. W. when he took a single gunshot to the leg.

The victim was then transported to a family member’s residence where law enforcement officers were notified.

He was then transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police still have no suspect information, but the Violent Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Units are investigating.
