Missing woman hasn't been seen in about 2 weeks, police say

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville police are looking for a 46-year-old woman who hasn't been seen in nearly two weeks.

Kerry Jones is a grandmother of three and was last seen in the Beall’s parking lot on Feb. 7 where she worked. Jones is legally deaf, according to authorities.

Police are not naming her boyfriend, Nick Kelly, as a person of interest. However, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was seen searching the water and Kelly’s yard for signs of her on Thursday.

A published Facebook post allegedly written by Kelly said he was cooperating with police, according to The Huffington Post.

Kelly was also the last person to see Jones, according to a police report.

JSO will not say that a crime has been committed; just that it is investigating a missing person’s case.
