NAS Jax warns of increased aircraft activity and noise during jet training drills

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Naval Air Station Jacksonville confirmed that carrier-based jet fighters and other types of aircraft will conduct training from March 5 to 17.

Aircraft participating in the training are currently arriving on station.

Residents in neighborhoods surrounding NAS Jax will notice an increase in aircraft activity and noise during this training period. This will specifically affect the Ortega Hills, Yukon and Venetia neighborhoods.

NAS Jax is asking anyone with noise complaints to email NASJAX.NOISECOMPLAINTS@US.NAVY.MIL.
