FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. —

According to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, a 15-year-old drove an SUV into a homeowner’s pool on Eastwind Dr. just after 1 a.m. on Sunday.

The sheriff’s office said the driver fled the scene, but Deputy Goethe and his K9 caught up with the driver and arrested him.

The driver did not have his license and was driving his friend’s SUV, according to Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.

There were two people in the SUV but thankfully no one was injured, the sheriff’s office said.
