After a six-year absence, the World of Beer Bar & Kitchen reopened its doors in 2022 in a 5,625-square-foot restaurant located at 5105 J. Turner Butler Blvd.

As of Mon., May 8, 2023, WOB Southpoint has closed its doors.

In an Instagram statement released on its personal account, the franchise had the following to say about its abrupt closing:
We have made the difficult decision to close WOB Jacksonville Southpoint. We have so much love for the Jacksonville community -- we want to thank our regulars, loyalty members, and our team members who made this location so special.
At the time of their opening on May 25, 2022, highlights of the restaurant and beer bar included two Topgolf Swing Suites and a large outdoor patio for parties and gatherings.
The Topgolf Swing Suites were touted to be an immersive social experience, offering guests a comfy lounge with multiple virtual games to choose from on a massive screen.

The Southpoint location also boasted about its collection of more than 300 different and unique beers in massive coolers with 40 rotating taps.
