ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Two people are in custody Tuesday morning after deputies found ingredients used to make meth in a stolen car, deputies said.
St. Johns County Fire Rescue said crews were assisting law enforcement at the rest area north of County Road 210 on Interstate 95. The area had limited access temporarily while officials investigated.

Deputies stopped the vehicle after they ran the tag and determined the car was stolen. The car was stolen from Pennsylvania, deputies said.
The suspects tried to flee when the deputy realized the car was stolen, deputies said.
The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said the car was filled with ingredients to make meth, but there was no actual meth-making going on in the vehicle.
Two people have been arrested.
The suspects were heading south and had been using meth on their trek down from Pennsylvania, SJSO said.
"They’re coming from Pennsylvania, heading down south, and during their trip they made it while they were driving, it looks like," said SJSO Sgt. Mike Hartsell. "Then, they put the solution back into the bottle. So, it looked like they used all their finished product."
The man and woman, who haven't been identified, are facing auto theft charges and will eventually face meth-making charges.

Both suspects were taken into the yellow tent to be hosed down; decontaminated. That's common in suspected meth cases.
